We arrived home last Sunday after spending nearly two weeks with our son and daughter in-law in Perth. We had a wonderful time visiting many of the local sights, share a late Christmas dinner with Alexandra's family and spending time with them both.
It was Hubbies Birthday while we were away and Alex made him the most Yummy Jaffa Cake, we decorated it with chocolate glaze and eatable confetti. The cake was enjoyed after a wonderful meal cookrd by Alex and Brian.
We finally got to see our sons business The Butcher Shop and while Hubby was talking all things meat with our son I was looking at the produce. An elderly gentleman started telling me all about the wonderful service, chickens, fresh meat and specials that were available. It was so nice to hear such great feedback.
If you live in Perth why not pop in and say hello at Shop 3 The Park Centre 789 Albany Highway East Vic Park. They also sell deli items and Brian does all the smoked meat products.
Brian and Alexandra took us to Mandurah where we had a wonderful time. During the day they took us sight seeing, looked at a retirement village and found easy to get to fishing spots. ( yes we are planning our retirement) In the evening we went to the Irish Pub had a very nice meal and managed to answer most of the questions for the trivia night.
It was a little hard to come home except I missed Bob.
What a fantastic holiday I bet you didn't want to come home.

DeleteHow nice to be able to spend time with our children. He has a wonderful business, glad it is going well. We will be going to Florida in Feb. to see 2 of our kids.
